No fees, no dues, just solidarity.
We're a group of neighbors working to build a more connected, more engaged community in Omaha. Plant swaps, block parties, clean ups, housing advocacy: we go where the community leads. We primarily serve neighbors in Grammercy Park, between Benson and Dundee (east/south of Country Club) but anyone is welcome.
What affects one, affects all.
Last year's was a blast. We're planning a spring/summer date, let us know you're interested!

Our Collective grew out of plant swaps, potlucks, and people who care about their neighbors and the flora and fauna of this neighborhood. We want a design that captures that: something real, handmade-feeling, and alive that could live on a t-shirt and grow into a GPC logo.

Upset about a project in our area?
New developments, construction, and road closures are reshaping our neighborhood, often without much notice. If you're frustrated, confused about who to call, or just need help making sense of what's happening on your block, reach out. We'll listen, share what we know, and help you navigate.
We're a DIY community group and we need you. Spread the word to your neighbors, pitch in your time or skills, show up, help us grow a stronger community. Every bit counts.
Become a Block Connector
GPC is non-hierarchical: we go where the community leads us. Block Connectors are how we make that real. You'd be our point person on your block: we send you updates, resources, and things worth sharing, and you get them to your neighbors however works best for you. A text thread, a flyer on a door, a conversation over the fence.
No meetings required. Just a neighbor who gives a damn.
Just moved to the neighborhood?
Becoming a Block Connector is the fastest way to meet the people on your block.
Articles, essays, and ideas that have shaped how we think about neighborhoods, mutual aid, and what it means to show up for each other. Got something to share? Send it our way.
